Legalization and Authentication
Legalization and authentication are processes that must be undertaken to ensure a document is recognized as legally valid in another country. As with any process, each country/organization have their own ways of doing things and it rarely is ever easy. Notary-toronto.ca
has created a step-by-step guide on how to authenticate and legalize your document(s) in every country in the world.
Typically, documents first need to undergo a process called authentication. Authentication can be provided by Global Affairs Canada or by the Official Document Services of the Ontario government. Please consult the specific country to find out their authentication requirements. You can read more on how to authenticate your documents with Global Affairs Canada by clicking here.
